Community Essentials Training-
Confident Woman-
Ra Naari Parishad, Rakiraki
Congratulations to the 21 Graduates of the Ra Naari Parishad, Rakiraki. Today, you have received your certificates of the "CONFIDENT Woman- Community Essentials". Your dedication to learning, growth, and service to your communities is truly inspiring. Key takeaways from our Chief Guest, Adi Sereima (Women Interest Officer, Rakiraki): - GBV is a societal issue that affects us all and strikes at the foundations of our communities. - Leadership strengthens when women support one another and actively engage in clubs and organizations. - The training equips you with knowledge and skills to lead boldly, responsibly, and with compassion. - We must foster environments where women can live fearlessly, share their stories, and access essential resources. - Your voices are powerful- raise awareness, stand united against violence and discrimination, and mentor the next generation of young women. As members of Ra Naari Parishad, your commitment to advocacy, mentorship, and civic engagement will shape safe and empower more communities. Let’s carry these lessons forward and continue to uplift one another. Congratulations again, and all the best on your powerful journeys ahead.

Women in Leadership Workshop
Congratulations to the 19 Graduates of the Women in Leadership Workshop! Today, we celebrate a powerful milestone for these incredible men and women who took steps towards becoming grounded, confident, and impactful leaders. Under the inspiring facilitation of Asinate Rokovaki, this workshop was more than just training, it was a journey into self-discovery and empowerment. We explored fundamental questions: Where do we begin? How do we begin? Who to begin with? Most importantly, we learned about laying strong foundations- identifying areas in our lives that need grounding, and using those tools to uplift others. Remember, before you empower others, you must first check yourself- are you worthy? Are you grounded? Because you can only give what you have. This experience is uniquely relatable; it touches our daily lives. Many of us carry the echoes of neglect from our past, often unaware of how it shapes us. Some children today face similar challenges, victims of circumstances beyond their control. That’s why this training draws us back to where it all begins, family. Grounding starts at home, and while we can't change the past, once we become aware, we have the responsibility to carry that knowledge forward. To all our graduates- your journey has just begun. Continue to build on this foundation, empower yourself, and by doing so, empower others. The future is bright because it is led by men and women like YOU!

Community Essentials Training-
Confident Woman- Yalobi Village
Lifebread Stay Connected Foundation (Fiji), held a community essentials training workshop from the 21st to the 24th of July at Yalobi Village in Waya, Yasawa. The workshop brought together 25 women from villages of Nalauwaki, Natawa, Waya Levu, and Yalobi of the Tikina Waya, Yasawa. Over four days, participants explored vital topics such as self-care, self-development, anger management, mindset growth, change management, women’s leadership, and financial well-being. The participants' response has been overwhelmingly positive. Women expressed newfound awareness being provided engaging activities, including practical sessions on leadership, personal development and financial management. The training’s impact extends beyond individual confidence; it lays the foundation for community wide economic development and resilience. Asinate Nakesa a participant remarked, “I just know spending money week to week basis, I do not know all this savings and budget until now and now I will take what I have learnt back home.” The overarching goal is to help women recognize that regardless of their location, be it in the city, town, or village, they possess the power and potential to be agents of change in their lives and communities. At the end of the four-day training, the women were awarded The Confident Woman- Community Essentials Training 'Certificates of Completion'. Present in the event is Jone Naivalu (Kawa ni Tui Waya) and the three Turaga ni Koro, Yalobi, Natawa and Waya Levu. The Turaga ni Koro of Yalobi, Nacanieli Vakalagilagi later applauded the participants for their unwavering dedication and encouraged them to practice out what they have learnt from the 4 days of training. Building on two years of success with the original Confident Woman program conducted at Tagaloli Training Center in Lautoka, we recognized a vital need to bring this life skills and soft skills program directly to women in rural areas who could not travel to Lautoka for extended training. After engaging with the Soqosoqo Vaka-Marama I-taukei Yasana Ba, we tailored a condensed version of the program specifically for women in communities across Yasawa and the mainland of Viti Levu, ensuring accessibility and relevance to their unique circumstances.
